FORSYTH, GA – Forsyth’s growth continues. The Development Authority of Monroe County has announced, fast-food giant, Chick-fil-A, is adding a franchise to the city. The Atlanta based company has agreed to purchase a 1.78 acre lot at the corner of Highway 18 and Industrial Park Drive, across from Quick-Trip. “The Authority believes CFA’s values and Biblical principals to care for others and serve others fits well with our community,” states the Development Authority’s Facebook page. Not only will the new restaurant have an economic and tourism impact on the Monroe-Forsyth area, it will also bring with it, approximately 60 new jobs. Forsythian’s will now have local access to classic favorites like CFA’s original chicken sandwich, nuggets, and even the new Honey Pepper Pimento Sandwich.
