WARNER ROBINS, GA – Warner Robins is adding yet another popular chicken chain to its’ already impressive restaurant portfolio. Arkansas based, Slim Chickens, is gearing up to open a location at 4030 Watson Boulevard. The location will be the fast-casual franchise’s second Georgia location, with the other being in Evans, in the Augusta metropolitan area.
Founded in 2003, Slims Chickens’ mission is to “make the best hand-bread chicken tenders using only the freshest ingredients, served in a friendly atmosphere where people can relax and feel at home.” It’s been their recipe for success and has helped them grow to over 200 locations, with some even in the U.K. and Kuwait. In 2023, the company has seen rapid growth, as they’ve planned to open a new location every week, and have 1,100 units in various stages of development.

The popular eatery boasts 17 sauce selections, sandwiches, tenders, and wings. They also have hand-spun milkshakes and dessert in a jar, which you can take home. With the addition of Slim Chickens, Middle Georgia chicken connoisseurs will have a bevy of new poultry possibilities. Huey Magoo’s recently opened on Lake Joy Road, with a Perry location still to come. Also, No Name Chicken, now has two Houston County locations. The first, located on Highway 96 in the Kroger shopping plaza, and the newest, positioned on Watson Boulevard in the same plaza as Krispy Kreme. Best projections have Slim Chickens opening their Watson location in late 2023.
