FORSYTH, GA – Forsyth’s growth continues. The Development Authroity of Monroe County has announced, fast-food giant, Chick-Fil-A, is adding a franchise to the city. The Atlanta based comapny has agreed to purchase a 1.78 acre lot at the corner of Highway 18 and Industrial Park Drive, across from Quick-Trip. Florida based chicken tender restaurant, Huey Magoos, is planning a location for Dublin, Ga. In an April 20th council meeting, the city approved the annexation of 2.86 acres on Highway 441, southwest of New Pinehill Rd. The fast-growing franchise currently operates in 8 states and has two Middle Georgia locations. The area’s first Huey Magoos found success in Milledgeville, while another location has recently opened in Warner Robins. Boasting “best tasting tenders” and specializing in dipping sauces, most notedly the Magoo sauce, Magoos adds to Dublin’s already impressive and ever-growing list of quality restaurant options.
