Springtime in Middle Georgia marks the beginning of many things, the aforementioned warmer weather and blooming season, of course baseball, and the ever-growing, wildly popular, festival season.

Forsyth – Forsythia Festival

Forsyth’s The 36th Annual Forsythia Festival is hosting over 100 arts and crafts vendors, a Country Fest, a 5K, and more! Forsyth’s famous downtown square, coupled with its’ fantastic variety of restaurants and local shops, serves as the perfect backdrop for this southern springtime festival,

Macon – International Cherry Blossom Festival

Each March, Macon becomes a pink, cotton-spun paradise as over 350,000 Yoshino cherry trees bloom in all their glory. It’s in celebration of that bloom, that Macon highlights it’s people, food, culture, and music, for the “Pinkest Party on Earth” in their International Cherry Blossom Festival.
Perry – Dogwood Festival

Perry, Georgia offers way more than just the Georgia National Fair. On April 1st and 2nd, Perry’s Historic Downtown area will hold it’s 34th Annual Dogwood Festival. Offering over 150 arts and crafts vendors, food vendors and food trucks, the Dogwood Festival has quickly become a favorite event for locals, and a premiere, must-attend event for Georgia travelers.
